YouthBridge-NY is an investment in the next generation of NYC's diverse community leaders, empowering them as they learn how to have difficult conversations, promote inclusive environments, and utilize diversity as an opportunity for enriching their neighborhoods and New York City as a whole.
Our teens learn key leadership skills such as advocacy, communication, conflict mediation, identifying internal bias, networking, and are professionally trained in diversity education and cultural understanding.
Our programs are designed for teens to work together and tackle complex issues such as criminal justice reform, food justice, and healthcare disparities.
In order to keep this program completely FREE for NYC youth, we rely on funding from our wonderful donors.
How your investment impacts youth:
$30 will cover 1 teen's admission for team-building field trips or museum tours
$50 will cover yummy snacks at one of our Social Action Committee meetings
$250 will transform a meeting (3X/month) into a pizza party
$300 covers fees for an engaging 2-hour workshop
$800 allows us to rent a venue space to host up to 30 students for a 2-hour skill building workshop
$1,000 will offset the cost of one student in our 24-month high school Leadership Fellowship
